Nigel has been a lover of all things music his whole life, from Jazz to Metal, Hip Hop to Alternative. His musical tastes broadened even more while working as the Program Director for the college radio station of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh (90.3 WRST). A national award winner for a radio news/feature piece he produced for the station, he graduated with a degree in Radio/TV/Film. He worked for AM 620 WTMJ, before moving from the world of broadcasting to the world of education. He continues to foster his wide variety of musical tastes by traveling to music festivals around the country from Bonnaroo to South by Southwest to Lollapalooza to (of course) Summerfest. His love of music also led him to join friends in the Milwaukee-area band Drop Test as a singer/songwriter. They released two albums before taking a (now ended!) hiatus. Nigel loves to explore local musicians of all genres, believing the cliché to be true: variety is the spice of life. The Cream City is his home.
